This piece attempts to capture the hecticness and persistence of the media, politicians & corporations during the elections. The compilation of miscellaneous stickers were stacked to achieve a cluttered look. However, the focal point is meant to be on the "I voted" sticker so I dimmed the cluttered backdrop.
Life under Surveillance & Data Collection
This piece attempts to imagine a world under constant surveillance and collection of data from both the government and major conglomerates. It hopes to evoke a feeling of restrictedness from a technological dystopia.
TBD
This piece attempts to capture the political and cultural tensions present during this past election season. It was titled 'TBD' because this piece was created before election day when anxieties were running high in fear of four more years of a Trump dystopia. However, it draws inspiration from George Orwell's 1984 book cover and themes.
No Dissent
This piece attempts to imagine a world of censorship. It draws inspiration from China's current censorship. I incorporated elements of free speach protest, technology and deliberate censorship by officials.
